Privacy Policy (Tea for Men)

This Privacy Policy explains how Tea for Men (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our mobile application (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.

What We Collect

• Account and Identifiers

• Anonymous Firebase user ID

• Optional profile information you provide (e.g., nickname)

• Device identifiers used for advertising and attribution (IDFA on iOS, AAID on Android) when permitted

• Content You Provide

• User-generated content such as posts, queries, comments, images and related metadata (timestamps, like counts)

• Usage and Diagnostics

• Crash and performance data (e.g., via Firebase Crashlytics)

• Basic event logs and technical information (device model, OS, app version)

• Permissions

• Photo library access (to let you select and upload images)

• Tracking permission on iOS for personalized ads/attribution (AppTrackingTransparency), if you consent

How We Use Information

• Provide and operate the App (authentication, content creation and display, likes, reporting)

• Store and deliver your content (e.g., images via Firebase Storage)

• Improve reliability, safety, and performance (diagnostics, crash reporting)

• Personalize or measure ads where supported and permitted

• Prevent abuse, enforce our Terms, and protect users

Legal Bases (EEA/UK/Similar Jurisdictions)

• Performance of a contract (provide core App features)

• Legitimate interests (security, diagnostics, non-intrusive measurement)

• Consent (personalized ads, tracking, certain analytics where required)

Sharing and Service Providers

• Firebase (Google): authentication, database, storage, crash reporting

• Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): ad delivery and measurement, subject to your consent where required

• Facebook SDK: advertising/measurement signals and app events, subject to your consent where required

• HotUpdater service: to securely check and deliver app code updates; it does not collect your personal content

We may also share information to comply with law, protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

Data Retention

• We retain account identifiers, posts, queries, likes, and reports for as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law. You may request deletion as described below.

International Transfers

• Data may be processed and stored in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. We implement appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers where required.

Your Choices and Rights

• Permissions: You can revoke photo library or tracking permissions in your device settings.

• Advertising Choices: Reset or limit your advertising ID (iOS/Android settings). On iOS, you may deny tracking permission at any time.

• Access/Deletion: You may request access to or deletion of your personal information (including user-generated content) by contacting us.

• Opt-Out of Personalized Ads: Where available, we honor platform-level choices and consent settings.

Children’s Privacy

• The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the relevant age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate consent.

Security

• We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No system is 100% secure.

Changes to This Policy

• We may update this Privacy Policy. We will update the “Effective Date” and, where required, notify you in-app or by other means.

Third-Party Disclosures for iOS

• We may request App Tracking Transparency authorization to personalize ads and measure performance. We integrate SKAdNetwork-supported ad networks listed in our iOS configuration. If you deny permission, ads may still appear but will be less personalized.

Terms of Use (Tea for Men)

Acceptance of Terms

• By accessing or using Tea for Men (the “App”), you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Eligibility

• You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction or have parental/guardian consent to use the App.

Accounts and Authentication

• The App may create an anonymous account for you via Firebase Auth. You are responsible for activity under your account.

User Content

• You may submit posts, queries, images, comments, and other content (“User Content”).

• You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting it, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, distribute, display, and create derivative works of your User Content as needed to operate, improve, and promote the App.

• You represent that you have the rights to submit the User Content and that it does not infringe third-party rights or violate laws.

Prohibited Conduct

• Do not submit content that is illegal, infringing, hateful, harassing, pornographic, sexually explicit, or otherwise harmful.

• Do not engage in fraud, impersonation, scraping, reverse engineering, or any activity that disrupts or harms the App or its users.

• Do not attempt to bypass security features or misuse reporting features.

Moderation and Enforcement

• We may review, moderate, remove, or restrict access to User Content at our discretion and without notice.

• We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or suspected abuse.

Intellectual Property

• We and our licensors own the App and all related materials (excluding User Content). All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

Advertisements and Third-Party Services

• The App may display ads (e.g., via Google Mobile Ads) and integrate third-party SDKs (e.g., Firebase, Facebook SDK, HotUpdater). Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms and policies.

Disclaimer of Warranties

• The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of Liability

• To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the App.

• Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the App in the 12 months preceding the claim (or USD 0 if no fees were paid).

Indemnification

• You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the App or your User Content.

Termination

• We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, for any reason, including violations of these Terms. Upon termination, provisions that by their nature should survive will survive (e.g., IP, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity).

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

• These Terms are governed by the laws of [your governing law/jurisdiction], without regard to conflict of laws principles.

• Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of [your venue], unless otherwise required by law.

Changes to Terms

• We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App following changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
